Jose Gonzales

After receiving his BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Acting, Jose J. Gonzales went on to perform at Intiman, ACT, The Seattle Rep, the Seattle Children's Theatre, Empty Space and the Seattle Group Theatre. A career highlight was creating the role of Franz Kafka in JoAnne Akalaitis' movement based production of Phillip Glass' opera, "In the Penal Colony" at ACT Theatre, which went on to Chicago and New York. Film and video credits include *White Face*, *Inheritance*, and *Guerrilla Gardener*, and numerous corporate videos. Jose is also an accomplished musician/singer. He's composed and performed music for Intiman's acclaimed production of "A Streetcar Named Desire", and performed music for their production of "Our Town". In addition he has created soundtracks for indie films and corporate videos. As if that wasn't enough, Jose leads The Jose Gonzales Trio, seen monthly at St. Clouds and Serafina. Their debut CD, "Jose Gonzales Trio", has recently been released and is garnering positive reviews.
